About CR Physiotherapy

My name is Callum Rigg (where CR comes from) and I am a qualified Physiotherapist in the UK. My journey started at the University of Greater Manchester in 2019, where I undertook the Sports Rehabilitation Course with Foundation Year (2019-2023). After graduating my BSc, I worked as a sole trader with my own private patients, whilst working across Football and Rugby. I worked for Ramsbottom United and shortly after moved to Rossendale Rugby Club, where I completed one of my many placement opportunities as a student (2023-2025). While working at Rossendale Rugby Club, I started my Physiotherapy MSc at the University of Greater Manchester (2024-2026). As of July 2026, I completed my academics and graduated my Physiotherapy MSc and am now a fully qualified physiotherapist.

During my Physiotherapy MSc, I was exposed to a range of different environments within the NHS, including x2 MSK placements, x1 cardiorespiratory inpatients, x1 neuro community, and x1 palliative care; totalling my 1000 placement hours!

Since graduating, I have volunteered at many events, with my most notable one being the 247s World Record Rugby event ran by LooseHeadz at Sandbach RUFC. I also work with my own patients as I really enjoy making a positive impact in people’s lives. I have also remained proactive by gaining a variety of mentorship experiences with other physiotherapists on the CSP.

I have since completed my AACP Evaluation of Knowledge in Acupuncture and am now registered with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
